she stumbled out of the car and slammed the door after her. her hoodie was stained with tears. whilst walking up the slope to school, she hastily tried to dry her eyes and dry the wet spots on the cuffs of her hoodie. quickening her pace to dry her eyes, she readjusted her expression to make sure it seemed calm, cold, as it usually was.
she raced into school, turned corners, and finally ran hastily through the green gates. she saw her friend at the lockers. perfect she sighed in her mind.
"do i look ok?" she whispered to her friend, choking on the ok. she could see her friend annoyed that she had interrupted her. the annoyance was replaced with shock, and then worry.
"what happened?"
and then she lost it completely, and then started to sob and choke over her breathes all over again.
